Viewing Lesson Vocab

The View Vocab screen shows all the words and phrases included in the selected lesson, so you can decide whether you want to use the lesson in a practice activity.

To use the View Vocab screen:

1. Consult the table for a list of all the vocab items in the lesson. Each row will show the known language and learning language for a term. (Note: For sign languages, the learning language will be replaced with a link to view a video of the sign.) You can {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} any column heading to change the way the terms are sorted.
2. Do any of the following:

• Tap to download the lesson. You cannot practice a lesson that has not been downloaded. This feature is only available with an Internet connection.

• {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} PRACTICE to use the activity with just the current lesson. This option will only be available if the lesson has enough appropriate content to run the activity.
• Mark the checkbox beside the lesson name, then {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} PRACTICE SELECTED to use the activity with the content from the current lesson and any other lessons that you have already selected. This option will only be available if the combined lessons have enough appropriate content to run the activity.
• Mark the checkbox beside the lesson name, then {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} HIDE VOCAB or BACK TO LIST to return to the list of lessons with this lesson selected, so that you can select additional lessons.

• Tap the lesson name to use the activity with just the current lesson. This option will only be available if the lesson has enough appropriate content to run the activity.
• Tap and hold the lesson name to select the lesson, then tap the PRACTICE icon that appears at the top of the screen to use the activity with the current lesson and any other lessons that you previously selected. This option will only be available if the combined lessons have enough appropriate content to run the activity.
• Tap and hold the lesson name to select the lesson, then tap HIDE VOCAB to return to the list of lessons with this lesson selected, so that you can select additional lessons.

• {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} ADD TO MY PATH to add the lesson to your learning path. (This option will not be available for lessons which have already been completed or lessons which are already in your path.)
• {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} REMOVE FROM MY PATH to remove the lesson from your learning path if it is already in it. The lesson will not be deleted, but will no longer appear in your learning path. Any words or phrases that you have learned from it will remain in your learned vocab. (This option will only appear for lessons in your learning path.)

• {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} ADD TO RSS FEED to add the lesson to your RSS feed. This option will not be available for all lessons, and may not be available in all versions of the program.

• {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} EXPORT AS B4X to export the lesson as a .b4x file for import in other Transparent Language programs. This option will not be available for all lessons.

• {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} DELETE FROM DEVICE to delete the lesson from your device if it has been downloaded. The files for the lesson will be removed from the current device, although any words or phrases that you have learned from it will remain in your learned vocab. You can download the lesson again at any time.

3. If you do not want to use the lesson in the currently selected activity, tap HIDE VOCAB to return to the list of lessons.

4. If you do not want to use the lesson in the currently selected activity, do one of the following:
• {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} HIDE VOCAB or BACK TO LIST to return to the list of lessons without marking the checkbox for this lesson.
• If you do not want to use the activity at all, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} in the upper right-hand corner to close both the View Vocab screen and the Content Selection screen, returning you to the Learning screen.
