Managing Classes{{#rr5}}, Groups, and Cohorts{{/rr5}}

The Classes{{#rr5}} & Cohorts{{/rr5}} screen allows you to manage any classes{{#rr5}}, reporting groups, or Cohorts{{/rr5}} that you are already enrolled in, as well as enroll in new classes{{#rr5}}, groups, or Cohorts{{/rr5}}.

Note: Not all users are enrolled in classes{{#rr5}}, groups, or Cohorts{{/rr5}}.{{#tlo}} Classes may not be available in all versions of the program and are not available for guest accounts.{{/tlo}}

To manage your classes{{#rr5}}, reporting groups, and Cohorts{{/rr5}}:

Read the information on the screen for details on your current classes{{#rr5}}, reporting groups, and Cohorts{{/rr5}}, if you are enrolled in any.{{#rr5}}

For classes and Cohorts, it{{/rr5}}{{#tlo}} The screen{{/tlo}} will show the name,{{^phone}} description,{{/phone}} instructor, and learning language, as well as the number of assignments and messages{{#tlo}} for each class{{/tlo}}. {{#tlo}}
{{/tlo}}To display the actual assignments and messages{{#tlo}} for a class{{/tlo}}, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} VIEW{{^phone}} to open the Assignments screen.{{/phone}}{{#phone}}, then tap Assignments or Messages.{{/phone}} Consult Using the Assignments Screen{{#phone}} and Viewing Class{{#rr5}} or Cohort{{/rr5}} Messages{{/phone}} for more information.
For groups, it will show the group name,{{^phone}} description,{{/phone}} administrator, and enrollment code. To read any messages that have been sent to the group, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} READ MESSAGES. Consult Viewing Group Messages for more information.

To change your{{#tlo}} class{{/tlo}} enrollments, do any of the following:

If you need to enroll in a new class{{#rr5}}, reporting group, or Cohort{{/rr5}} and you have a class code{{#rr5}} or group code{{/rr5}} from the instructor or administrator, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} ENROLL{{#tlo}}{{#web}} IN A CLASS{{/web}}{{/tlo}}{{#mobile}} IN A CLASS{{/mobile}}. You will be asked to enter the code in order to locate the correct class{{#rr5}}, group, or Cohort{{/rr5}}. Consult Enrolling in Classes{{#rr5}}, Reporting Groups, and Cohorts{{/rr5}} for details. If you know you need to enroll in a class{{#rr5}}, group, or Cohort{{/rr5}} but you don't have a code, contact your instructor or administrator. Some instructors may send links that will automatically enroll you, without having to enter a code on this screen.{{#mobile}} (None of the enrollment features are available in offline mode.){{/mobile}}
If you need to unenroll from a class{{#rr5}} or Cohort{{/rr5}}, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} beside the VIEW button, then select Unenroll. When asked if you are sure, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} OK. Note: You may be asked whether to remove the assignments from the class{{#rr5}} or Cohort{{/rr5}} from your learning path or keep them there. If so, choose an option according to your preference. (Unenrolling is not available for all classes{{#mobile}} and is not available in offline mode{{/mobile}}.)
If you need to unenroll from a reporting group, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} the UNENROLL button. When asked if you are sure, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} OK.{{#mobile}} (This feature is not available in offline mode.){{/mobile}}
If you need to unenroll from a class{{#rr5}} or Cohort{{/rr5}}, tap VIEW, then tap PROFILE. On the Class Profile screen, tap UNENROLL{{#tlo}} FROM CLASS{{/tlo}}. When asked to confirm your action, tap OK. Note: You may be asked whether to remove the assignments from the class{{#rr5}} or Cohort{{/rr5}} from your learning path or keep them there. If so, choose an option according to your preference. (Unenrolling is not available for all classes{{#rr5}} or Cohorts{{/rr5}}.)

At any time, you can also{{#phone}} tap Goal to check your goal progress, tap to display your notifications, or tap Menu and{{/phone}} do any of the following:

Select SWITCH TO DESKTOP SITE to display the desktop version of this site instead of the mobile version. Be aware that some features may be difficult to use on a mobile device in this mode.
Select your username in the menu, then do any of the following:{{#tlo}} Select Profile to view or edit your user profile.{{/tlo}}{{#rr5}} Select Account Options to change your account options.{{/rr5}} Select Change Language to change the learning language. Select App Settings to change settings associated with this app on this device. Select Log Out to log out of the program. (These options may not all be available for all accounts.)

Select Goals in the menu to go to the Goals screen, where you can view information on your daily learning goal, streaks, and shields{{#rr5}}, as well as any weekly or monthly learning requirements set for you by a reporting group administrator{{/rr5}}. Consult Understanding Learning Goals and Streaks{{#rr5}} and Understanding Learning Requirements{{/rr5}} for details.
Select Learned Vocab in the menu to go to the Learned Vocab screen, where you can view and refresh your learned vocab. Consult Managing Learned Vocab for details.

Select Practice in the menu to go to the Practice screen, where you can choose activities to work with. Consult Choosing Content for Activities for details.
Select Hands-Free Autoplay in the menu to learn and review vocabulary without the need to interact with the screen. Consult Choosing Content for Hands-Free Autoplay for details. (This option may not be available for all accounts.)
{{#web}}Click Resources in the top navigation bar{{/web}}{{#phone}}Select Resources in the menu{{/phone}} to display information on additional language and culture resources. Depending on your language, you may find Facebook communities, Twitter feeds, culture blogs, Word of the Day services, proficiency tests, and more. Consult Using the Resources Screen for details. (Not all languages have additional resources.)
Tap in the upper left-hand corner of the screen, then select App Settings from the drop-down menu to change settings associated with {{#tlo}}Transparent Language Online{{/tlo}}{{#rr5}}the CL-150{{/rr5}} on this device, such as push notifications. Consult Changing app settings for details.
Click KidSpeak in the top navigation bar to open the KidSpeak application. (This feature is not available for all languages.)
Click Authoring in the top navigation bar to make or edit your own lessons for use in the CL-150 Learning Application. Consult Authoring Lessons for details. (This option may not be available for all accounts.)

Consult the mini goal-tracker in the top navigation bar to check how close you are to completing your daily learning goal{{#rr5}}, as well as any weekly or monthly learning requirements set for you by a reporting group administrator. If you have more than one goal, the tracker will rotate between them{{/rr5}}. Consult Understanding Learning Goals and Streaks{{#rr5}} and Understanding Learning Requirements{{/rr5}} for details.
{{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} the name of the current language at the top of the screen to change the language you are learning{{#tlo}}, if you have access to more than one language{{/tlo}}.{{#mobile}} In offline mode, only learning languages for which you have already downloaded lessons will appear.{{/mobile}}
Click Mobile Access in the upper right-hand part of the screen to display information on the mobile app associated with this program. (This option may not be available for all accounts.)
If you are logged in as an instructor or an administrator, click Learning Portal in the upper right-hand part of the screen and choose Instructor Portal or Admin Portal to access either of those portals. (These options may not be available for all accounts.)
Select Learning Language in the menu to change the language you are learning{{#tlo}}, if you have access to more than one language{{/tlo}}.
Click in the upper right-hand part of the screen, then do any of the following: Select {{#tlo}}Profile{{/tlo}}{{#rr5}}Account Options{{/rr5}} to {{#tlo}}view or edit your user profile{{/tlo}}{{#rr5}}change your account options{{/rr5}}, download completion certificates, and more. Select Change Language to change the learning language. Select Interface Options to change the interface language. Select Switch to Mobile Site to display the mobile version of this site instead of the desktop version. Select Log Out to log out of the program. (These options may not all be available for all accounts.)
Tap your username in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to {{#tlo}}view and edit your user profile{{/tlo}}{{#rr5}}change your account options{{/rr5}} or log out of the program.{{#tlo}} (In offline mode, profiles can only be viewed, not edited.) If you are using a trial account, the menu under your username will also tell you how many days remain in your trial.{{/tlo}}
Click in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to display your notifications. A number or an exclamation point will appear beside the icon if new notifications have been added since the last time you checked. Consult Managing Notifications for details.
