Using the Browse Screen

The Browse screen allows you to browse through additional content and add lessons to your learning path. All the content available through the Browse screen is included with {{#tlo}}Transparent Language Online, at no additional cost to you{{/tlo}}{{#rr5}}the CL-150{{/rr5}}, so feel free to explore it all!

To use the Browse screen:

  1. If you are not already there, go to the Browse screen by {{#web}}clicking Browse in the navigation bar at the top of the Learning screen or another screen.{{/web}}{{#mobile}}tapping Menu in the upper left-hand corner of the screen, then selecting Browse.{{/mobile}}{{#phone}}tapping Menu and selecting Browse.{{/phone}}
  2. When the Browse screen opens, it will display the categories that serve to organize the available content. {{#web}}Click OPEN in{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} the row for the category you want to open. If the category contains subcategories, {{#web}}click OPEN in the row for{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} one of them, and continue until you reach a list of lessons.
  3. Read the names of the available lessons in the category.{{#mobile}} (In offline mode, only lessons that you have already downloaded will appear.){{/mobile}} The icons and other elements around the names provide additional information:

  5. If you don't find the lessons you want, use the Search field and the ADVANCED SEARCH options to locate it. Type the text you want to search for (such as the name of a lesson or a word or phrase that you want to learn), then {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} {{#web}}Search{{/web}}{{#mobile}}Search{{/mobile}} to run the search. If necessary, you can {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} {{^mobile}}Show Virtual Keyboard{{/mobile}}{{#mobile}}Show Virtual Keyboard{{/mobile}} to use the virtual keyboard while you type.   7. If you don't find the lessons you want, tap Search to display the Search field, then type the text you want to search for (such as the name of a lesson or a word or phrase that you want to learn) in that field. Tap Search in the field to run the search. Searches are not case-sensitive. Consult Searching for Lessons for details.

  9. When you find a lesson you want to use, do any of the following:
  10. To return to a previous category, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} its name in the heading above the list of lessons.

At any time, you can also{{#phone}} tap Goal to check your goal progress, tap Notifications to display your notifications, or tap Menu and{{/phone}} do any of the following:
